The Cleveland Bio Fund (CbF) is an international private equity fund that provides significant growth opportunities for portfolio companies by delivering access to capital and distribution partners in China. CbF identifies undervalued, revenue-stage companies whose technologies are highly sought-after in China and Southeast Asia but have not yet to expanded their sales operations to the Asian marketplace.
Our fund managers have a strong track record of investing in early-stage health care companies as well as a deep understanding of conducting cross-border investments.
Headquartered in Cleveland and Beijing we invest in dynamic medical device and service companies, beginning with those based in the American Midwest. Our target companies have achieved success in selling to customers in the US and have significant opportunities to accelerate their earnings through a successful go-to-market strategy in China.
Through our domestic and international networks, experience, and key location we have a deep understanding of which companies are particularly appropriate for expansion into China. We attract investors to the fund from China and facilitate the companies' expansion efforts.
